Closing your DeepID account and deleting your data

In the identification section and for certification and trust services, there are very long legal retention obligations - at least 17 years after the identification process has been carried out according to ZertES and at least 36 years according to the eIDAS Regulation - in order to be able to prove that a person has been identified and their electronic signature(s) have been issued. For this reason, your application must first be checked by our support team.

Quick guide
1. log in with your DeepID and request the deletion of your DeepID in the profile settings.

2. our support team will check your request in accordance with the legal obligation to retain data
3. our support team will contact you by e-mail and inform you about the status of the deletion process
