External persons can be invited in the Box administration under Users. Invited persons can then register via the invitation link. By default, invitees only have access to the shared Box until they open their own Box.

For sharing a Box or folder, the access locations and authorisations must also be saved. As seen in the video, since access is granted to the garage owner, access to the "Vehicles" folder is sufficient. However, for the garage to be able to send invoices, it needs access to the inbox.

Again, the authorisations are the same as for the organisational members.

• Read: As a reader, the user has the fewest rights. They can only view, download or share files via link.
•  Edit: As an editor, the user can upload files, delete saved documents and create new folders.
