Different identification requirements for digital signatures apply in the EU and Switzerland. If an existing identification does not apply to both standards and you have to sign a document for the that is missing standard, you have to make another identification via Trust Agent.

Example: You may use QES according to the current identification for Swiss contracts, but not for EU contracts. You have to make another identification via Trust Agent so that CH as well as EU are possible. This identification is valid until the expiry of the identification documents used for the identification or for a maximum of 5 years.
